  • Power supply via USB download port bypasses the main power switch, so the power amplifier remains powered continuously.
  • The main Type-C power supply of the full machine must pass through the toggle switch.The machine shell blocks the power indicator light, making it easy for engineers to overlook the switch being stuck in the OFF position during debugging.Under this condition, only the 3.3V low-voltage core of AC6966B operates. Motor control, Bluetooth and decoding channels work properly, yet the power supply circuit of the power amplifier is cut off, resulting in no speaker sound. Voltage fluctuations during motor operation will aggravate this failure symptom.

3-Step Quick Troubleshooting Guide

  1. Disassemble the side casing of the machine, toggle the power switch to ON, and retest after the PWR indicator stays lit. This resolves 90% of such failures.
  2. If sound is still absent with the switch turned ON: Short-circuit PC2 (Mute pin) to low-level LED. If the LED flashes during playback, the IO control works normally – troubleshoot the peripheral circuits of the power amplifier.
