JieLi (JL) Bluetooth Test Box: Firmware Upgrade Instructions

 


Method 1: Firmware Upgrade for One - to - Two Test Box Using a Small Tool

The test box contains three chips: two slave chips (running the same program) and one master chip. Firmware upgrades require updating all three chips.

1. Upgrade the Master Chip

Connect the upgrade tool, plug it into the USB port, and run AC690x_1T2 Test Box_Master V1.0.1.exe to download.

2. Upgrade the Two Slave Chips

  • Connect the USB port using Dupont wires (DM to slave DM, DP to slave DP). Refer to the wiring diagram on the back of the test box for Slave 1 and Slave 2 connections.
  • Connect the upgrade tool, plug it into the USB port, and run AC690x_1T2 Test Box_Slave V1.0.1.exe to download.
  • After upgrading all three chips, attach the jumper cap.

Method 2: Firmware Upgrade Using bt_test_box.exe Software

This method does not require jumpers; simply plug into the USB port for PC - based one - to - two upgrades. (Supported only for test boxes running AC690x_1T2 Test Box V1.0.1 or higher.) The tool can read the version number, as shown in the diagram.

1. Ensure the test box is running normally, then plug in the PC slave cable to enter upgrade mode (refer to the configuration process above).

2. Drag AC690x_1T2 Test Box bin_V1.0.1\jl_690x.bin to the slave and AC690x_1T2 Test Box bin_V1.0.1\jl_690x_master.bin to the master.

  • Open the files, click download, and do not interrupt power during the upgrade.
  • After the upgrade reaches 100%, restart the test box. If the display shows both channels as "Searching," the master and slave upgrades are running normally. If a channel shows "Initializing," the slave upgrade has failed. If the screen is blank, the master upgrade has failed.
  • In case of abnormalities, use Method 1 with the small tool and jumper for a forced firmware upgrade of the one - to - two test box.
  • Note: When upgrading the test box firmware from V1.0.1/V1.0.2 to V1.0.3 using Method 2, the master may encounter issues post - upgrade, while the slave remains normal. In this case, use Method 1 to re - upgrade the master; the slave does not need re - upgrading.

KT148A Voice Chip Issue: Difficult to Play with Code Sending - Normal Playback After Grounding Pin 4, What’s the Reason?

Problem Description: Hello, we’ve encountered an issue and would appreciate your support: With the KT148A chip, after powering on, sending the code rarely triggers playback. However, if we use tweezers to briefly short Pin 4 (PB0) to ground and then send the code again, playback works normally. What could be causing this?
